# Minute Range queries

Use this endpoint to find the oldest and most recent minute record available for each symbol.

## Request handler

```
https://historical.aws.barchart.com/historical/queryminutedaterange.ashx
```

## Parameters

Required:

* `username`
* `password`
* `symbols`

`symbols` is a comma-delimited list.

## Response format

The endpoint returns one comma-delimited row per symbol:

```
SYMBOL,YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM,YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM
```

The second field is the oldest available minute timestamp. The third field is the most recent.

Example:

```
AAPL,2008-05-05 09:30,2011-06-29 19:57
IBM,2008-05-05 09:30,2011-06-29 18:51
```

## Example

Find the available minute history range for IBM and AAPL:

```
https://historical.aws.barchart.com/historical/queryminutedaterange.ashx?username=username&password=password&symbols=IBM,AAPL
```

## Notes

* Symbols not found in the system are ignored.
* No row is returned when a symbol has no available minute data.
* Check the range before running large historical backfills.
