# Available Exchanges

Openfeed provides broad multi-asset market data coverage across exchange-traded, OTC, benchmark, and fundamental datasets.

It includes real-time, delayed, end-of-day, and next-day feeds across the Americas, EMEA, APAC, and global composites.

For the complete and current market directory, see [Market Data Coverage](https://www.barchart.com/solutions/market-category/all-markets).

{% hint style="info" %}
Note **Historical Data Availability:** End-of-day history and tick data is available via [Market Replay API](https://www.barchart.com/solutions/services/market-replay-api) and [Enterprise file service](https://www.barchart.com/solutions/services/market-replay-enterprise) via S3 or SFTP. The Openfeed APIs are designed for daily price monitoring and data collection pipelines. Many of Barchart's clients pair Openfeed and Market Replay services together. Use the [Contact Us](https://www.barchart.com/solutions/contact) page to request more info.

### Technical Coverage Summary

API users can use the market catalog to validate five things before onboarding:

* **Delivery frequency** — real-time, delayed
* **Market depth** — `L1`, `L2`, `Last`, or dataset-specific values (varies per exchange)
* **Venue identifiers** — MIC code and operating MIC
* **Options support** — intraday futures and equities

In practice, the catalog covers:

* **Real-time L2 futures depth** for major derivatives venues including CME Group, ICE, Eurex, Euronext, SGX, ASX, B3, TMX, and others
* **Real-time and delayed equities** across US, Canadian, European, and Australian venues
* **Real-time index, FX, crypto, and rates** datasets
* **Cash commodity, energy, grain, emissions, biofuels, and forward curve** datasets
* **Fundamental and macroeconomic series** from government, exchange, and private sources

{% hint style="info" %}
Coverage is not uniform across all markets. Depth, entitlement model, historical backfill, and options support vary by venue.

This documentation is published with GitBook. GitBook is the documentation platform designed so that both humans and AI agents can read, navigate, and reason over technical content effectively. Learn more at gitbook.com.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://developer.barchart.com/getting-started/available-exchanges.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
